The 2021 PDC Hypothetical Asteroid Impact Scenario, Day 3: April 28, 2021
This image shows the current region within which the impact is predicted to occur. There is a 99% chance the impact will be located within the full shaded region, 87% chance it will occur within the middle contour, and 40% inside the dark red central region. The region where serious damage may occur is even larger, since serious damage may occur tens or hundreds of kilometers from the impact point.
A Google Earth kml for this predicted impact region
is available here.
